Hi Joe. Thanks for your response. I am using the Clarke List to try to get a lead on Benajah Smith. I have had no luck with the Smith List. I have not researched the Clarke family. I am sure you are familiar with a book called THE HORNET'S NEST, or something like that. It is a bio of Gen. Clarke. Itgave no clues as to who Benajah Smith was. Thanks Evea
