    3. I have been looking for family of William Clark, living in Harrison CO, Texas about 1836. I believe William was an attorney as well as fighting for the New Republic of Texas. He represented a gggggrandmother of mine named Nancy who married Alfred Dean, John Ussery and John McMills. She died 1854. William Clark represented her in several court cases. I believe her maiden name was either Avery or Clark. ------------------------------------ John Philip Adams -----Original Message----- From: Shirley Ashley [mailto:shirla@granderiver.net] Sent: Monday, February 28, 2005 3:28 PM To: CLARKE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [Clarke-Clark] Re: Clarks Is there anyone out there researching the Clarke/Clark line from S.C.-Ala.-Ms-La.-Texas.
