Malachy CLARKE was born before 1757 in Co. Galway, Ireland. He married Bridget GAVIN about 1772. They had five children: John, Andrew, Bridget Sabina, Jeremiah. All born in Ireland. Jeremiah died in Lebanan, KY. Andrew CLARKE (son of Malachy & Bridget) married Bridget CLARKE, same name not related. Both born in Ireland. I am really scarce on dates here, sorry. They had seven children: Martin, Malachy, Michael, Andrew, Sabina, Bridget, John 1833. Martin CLARKE (son of Andrew & Bridget) married Mary NOONE. They had two children: Michael & Bridget. Bridget died January 8, 1901 in the USA. Malachy CLARKE (son of Andrew & Bridget) was born in Ireland and died September 10, 1851 in Wheeling, W VA. Michael CLARKE (son of Andrew & Bridget) born in Ireland and died in New Orleans, LA. Andrew CLARKE (son of Andrew & Bridget) born & died in Ireland. Sabina CLARKE (daughter of Andrew & Bridget) no other info. Bridget CLARKE (daughter of Andrew & Bridget) married Thomas HALEY and she, it is believed to have died in Portland, KY. They had three children: John, Mary, & Bridget. John HALEY died 1903 in New Mexico. Mary HALEY died 1912 in Gretna, LA. Briget HALEY married Francis J. FLEURY in 1882 in New Orleans, LA They had six children: Frank T., John Ernest, James J., Mary L. John CLARKE / CLARK (son of Andrew & Bridget) b. 1833 in Ireland, married Mary MANION b. 1834 Ireland. John seems to have dropped the "e" in his name. Both died in Dubuque, Iowa.
