Fay and others, I have been eagerly waiting for word of a Clark DNA study that has Clark families participating that migrated across the Northern Route of the US. My Clark line (Elias) came to America shortly after 1755 and migrated across the US in this fashion: CT-(NY-NJ) NY from 1800-1830, Ohio, and Mi in 1849. Later some of this line would migrate west to California and Washington State. If anyone knows of such a study please enlighten me. Isn't this the line that belongs to Jesse Clark b. ca. 1800 who married a WEST? I think he was very briefly in Wayne Co KY on the same 1830 census record as my Jesse Clark b. 1801... Some family members has bought and sold much land, I would hate to think that a 100 years from now that someone doing research would say they are related to these people that was nothing but a business transaction.
