Question: Who made this connection and were did they find the proof? We have been to Patrick Co. Va. and we found nothing except a marriage record for Henry Clark and Ruth Mize, Marriage record for Mary Polly Clark (d/o Henry Clark and Ruth Mize) to Thomas Key Campbell 1845. Clark deeds are plenty in Patrick Co. Va. Were are the wills for this County??? Wills give names of children. Some family members has bought and sold much land, I would hate to think that a 100 years from now that someone doing research would say they are related to these people that was nothing but a business transaction.
