His eldest son was named William Marion Clark b. 5 Jan 1850 in Mahaska Co., IA. William's eldest son was named Walter Marion Clark, b. 28 Oct 1881 in Burlington Jct, Nodaway Co., MO. Walter's eldest son was named Marion Joseph Clark, b. 3 Jul 1905 in Clay Center, Clay Co., NE. The name "Marion" seems to be a family name. The Illinois Public, Domain Land Tract Sales Database shows that Solomon Clark purchased the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of T12N, R5W. Meridian 4. on 9/10/1855. On same database shows that on 11/13/1855 a Henry Clark purchased the adjoining NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of T12N, R5W. Meridian 4 on 11/13/1855. Is there any chance of relationship?
