Hello all, I'm new to the list and in search of the line of George Clarke of the NY/Canada border area. George Clarke married Laura Jane Lee and they had at least two children, William and Cora Lee Clarke. The "Lee" name has carried down through the women in the family to my mother-in-law. I don't have much more information on the family, but know that Cora (daughter of Laura Lee and George Clarke) was supposedly born in the Buffalo, NY area in 1895 and was "from Canada" (a city that starts with a W?) Anyway, if anyone on the list is researching Lee's in this area and thinks they might connect, I'd love to chat.
