The age at death seems to be just about right, and he lived most, if not all, of his life in New Kent Co./Charles City Co. area. It's entirely possible he could have died in Williamsburg. I haven't had much time to post lately, but saw your postings and wondered if your Clarkes might tie in with mine. Mine all lived in New Kent/Charles City and as far as we know, spelled their name with the 'e' on the end. My GGgrandfather was Albert Thomas Clarke (went by Tom) and his father was Benjamin M(unford?) Clarke. His father was probably Albert B. Clarke. Tom Clarke was married three times and had numerous children; his first wife, Isabella Craddock Adams (a young widow) was my GGgrandmother. My great-grandmother was Emma Jane Clarke, who m. Albert F. Kidd. Other children of Tom Clarke were Edith Ree Clarke, Lee Clarke, and Coral Clarke. There were many others, possibly as many as 20, but I don't have all the names. If any of this sounds familiar, please let me know. I'd like to trace this line further back. Thanks, Dianne Walsh
