Christi, I don't know if there is any connections further back, but I descend from a Samuel Clark and Mary Lee who were among the very earliest settlers in Batavia , Genesee, N. Y. in 1802. I am very familiar with their descendants and do not recognize your George Clark among them. The "Lee" surname has continued down in this family as well. Mary Lee comes from Haddam , Ct. Her father's name was Abijah Lee. You may connect into this Lee family.
