CLark, b. abt1868 d. 3/17/1942 in Wheatcroft, Webster Co., KY. I think he may be the father of Mary Elvah Clark who married James W. Travis. I found an obituary which said that Clark died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jim Travis. It has also been rumored in the family that Mary was either part or full Cherokee. She had the long black hair, high cheekbones and a dark complexion.
