On a wild chance!!!! I have an ANDREW JACKSON CLARK, b. 1840-42 in Sangamon Co., IL his parents could have been Charles and Malinda Elizabeth Reed Clark. After the CW he moved with his new wife to Atchison Co., MO and raises his family. There is a 3-4 yr. period after the war and before I find them in MO where I do not know where they disappeared. Anything is possible, but probably unlikely... unless we discover that Jackson is a family name rather than " presidential" association...my Andrew Jackson was born in 1859 in Rochester Mills, (now defunct) near Mt.Carmel, Illinois. His parents were Dr.Elias Clark and Mary Darrow Clark. Let me know how you fare!
