Dear Beth Bond, I too, have been doing research, for many years and I too have CLARK and CLARKE in my linage. It was a common practice to drop the E. Perhaps your Clarke's did not drop the E and that is great for you if you have been able to run you lines without finding just plain CLARK, but was it necesssary for you to be so rude? I believe you owe Mr and Mrs Bud Beard an apology. You took exception,and apparently felt you were being critized when, it was apparent that it was only a suggest to HELP YOU. I have never, in all the years I have been researching, known anyone to fly off the handle the way you did. Hope you are having a better day today. Barb Harvey
