My great grandmother Rebeca Clark was supposed to be Cherokee. She was born in SC about 1858 and was alive until after the 1910 cenus in NC. around Asheville or Spring Creek. Her mother was Sarah-Salla-Sally Carlil-Carlyle-Carlisle or whatever spelling. We can find no mention of indian, but they sure looked like it. Anyone know anything about either Rebeca or Sally?
