Hi, Still looking for my Clarks. His name was William G. Clark. I suppose that William could also be his middle name as all of you know they did that long ago. I only know that he was born about 1800 in Illinois. His wife was Ellen Scott also of Illinois. They had my g-g-grandmother Alice Clark in Iowa. She married Randolph Abernathy in February, 1881 , Wapello Co., Iowa. There are a lot of William Clarks out there but no William G. Thanks for your help, Barbara

Seeking a William, Bill or Owen Clarke from IL and then Iowa. He was the father or uncle of a baby boy Clarke born 1 Jan 1867 or 1864 probably in Iowa. The child was adopted by the Joseph Young family near Waterloo Iowa. Any information greatly appreciated and would share that which I have.
