I am trying to find the parents of Susannah CLARK. She is mentioned as a granddaughter in Richard FOSTER's 26 Nov 1794 will, which was proved 24 Feb 1795 in Surry County. She is a minor and her guardianship is given to another grandchild, John H. FOSTER, the son of Ransom FOSTER and Elizabeth COMAN. A James CLARK witnessed the will but I don't know if he is the father of Susannah. I also do not have the name of Richard FOSTER's daughter who apparently had died before the 1794 will was written. I have seen a deed which listed a James CLARK and wife, Caty, but haven't found any marriage information so don't know if this would be a FOSTER or not. Does anyone have any information on this family? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nancy
