Hi Betty ~ Do you have siblings for your James CLARK? I wonder if he may be connected to my Isaac CLARK (1818 - 1899) of Wood Co. (W)Va. I just discovered my CLARK's about a month ago so have very little information right now. I have copied from the Deed Index at Wood Co., WV the following: Dated Jan. 22, 1868 Amy Clark; Isaac O. & Sarah P. Clark his wife; William J. & Sarah Jane Clark his wife; A.T. Clark; A.E. Clark; and Adolphus P. Clark all of Wirt Co. sold to Wm. P. Pickering land at Kanawha Station on North side of B & O R.R., Stanton Turnpike.
