Hi there Rooters , Can anyone provide me with information on the following couple . John Clark , born 1752 , in New Jersey , married in New Jersey in 1775 to Sarah Doty , born 1750 , also in New Jersey . I'm hunting for my ancestor John Clark , born 1752 , wife name unknown to date , however , they had a sons , James , born 1775-76 , William , born , 1777 and John , born , 1778 . Daughters Mary and Elleanor (Ellen) were born in Canada . John had a daughter Sarah from a second marriage . Some of the New Jersey Clarks and Dotys were " Loyalists " to Nova Scotia following the American Revolution . I would like to clarify this New Jersey marriage and perhaps there is someone out there that can shed some light on my brick wall . Thanking all for any conciderations , kindest regards , J.
