Linda - my grandfather was a Marcus CLARKE, and was called Mark. The "e" was added at his generation -- his mother was a CLARK, Viannah Jane. Her father was David E. CLARK. Marcus Lee CLARKE was born in 1875 in Johnson Co, GA and died in 1933 in Vidalia, Toombs Co, GA.
