Hi, Diona, it was with excitement that I received your message re: Martha. There are a few discrepancies but not many. She married Rev. Charles Currie not John Currie, her son's name was Andrew Cruikshank. He was the son of her first husband. He was my father and died last August. She had 2 daughters with Mr. Currie. Aileen and Verna. Verna is still living. She lives in Surrey. I live in Richmond B.C. My father was never very forthcoming about family history but it is something I have always been interested in. My parents married in 1941 and I was born in 1942 so I never knew my grandmother or grandfather on my fathers side. His father died when my father was about 5 years old. I would love to know about my grandmother and any other Beswathericks and the history of the family coming to Canada. I understand there is also a Beswatherick relative living in Manitoba.
