I imagine that by now everyone knows of the Ellis Island Site. I found my great-grandparents (Harry and Annie Clarke) arriving in 1901. The problem came when I tried to view the remainder of the handwritten passenger manifest - 3 of the pages were photographed backwards! If anyone else comes across this, simply place a mirror next to the computer screen and look at the image in the mirror. It's a bit of a bother, but it turns the image right-side round.
