We assume that his Father was John Clark born pre 1760. Nicholas' Father was dead before 1850 Lafayette Co. Arkansas Census was taken. Nicholas died circa 1853 and his will was probated in Gonzales Co. Texas. Wife Susan was admin, but relinquished duty to Nicholas' son James due to ill health. Nicholas' son Thornberry A. Clark, died 1855 in Lafayette County Arkansas, wife was Elizabeth Amanda Burgess. Oldest Daughter was Amanda Catherine Clark who married Munroe Berian O'Rear. Their daughter Martha Elizabeth "Lizzie" O'Rear married my Greatgrandfather Daniel Lee Green. Their son was James Howell Green who married Alice Elizabeth McDermott. Their third son was my Father James Daniel Green who married Nadine "NMN" Lewis. If any of these folks sound familiar give a holler, I have more brickwalls than known Cousins. Susan Johnson B. abt. 1788 married John Clark in 1810 John Clark and Susan had the following children: Anna, Miriam, Francis, Susan (B.1818 in IL., John Jr., Francis Clark B. 1817 married Nancy Rawlings had the following children: Robert, Susan B. 1840 IL, John Isaiah Lacy, Rachel, James Raleigh Robert Clark B. 1838 to Amanda Janes Shores had the following child: Nancy Caroline B. 1862 (she was my grandmothers mother) Nancy Caroline Clark B. 1862 IL married James Madison Jenner in 1880 My grandmother Blanche Mae Jenner was my grandmother and married John Henry Bailey. She is whom I have documented to Moses Johnson, father of Susan Johnson to qualify for the Daughter of the American Revolution. I can not find documents proving that Susan is the daughter of Moses Johnson or married to John Clark. I have a will that states Moses left $1 to John Clark. ( also know that these Clarks are part of the Van Buren Co., AR.
