    3. For a moment I got very excited, as I have a Fred Clarke who fit some of that info. However, he died in WWI on November 6, 1917. Some of you may be interested in looking up your English relatives who died in WWI or WWII in the Debt of Honor web site of the Commonwealth War Graves commission, where I found our Fred. It gave the name of his father, Eli Clarke, as well as his wife, Katherine (Kitty), and told where he is buried in France. I have some photos of him, but seeing this reference made him so much more real: http://yard.ccta.gov.uk/cwgc/register.nsf Sheila Lowe Searching CLARKE, AHRENS, KING, SCHNEIDER ----- Original Message ----- From: <fourleafmel@hotmail.com> To: <CLARKE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, August 03, 2001 9:02 AM Subject: [CLARKE] fred clarke of ireland > > > I am searching for relatives of Fred Clarke. He was my grandpa. Here's what I know. He died on November 2, 1988 in London, Ontario Canada. He was married to Jaqueline Clarke, originally of Toronto, Ontario. They had one daughter, only, named Brenda Clarke, (now Brenda Mitchell, my mom) and moved to London, ON when she was three. They stayed there for the rest of their time here. What I know about Fred Clarke is that he came to Canada when he was about 15 years old. I know he served in WW II. Please, if anyone recognizes any of this information, e-mail me. Thank you. > > > ==== CLARKE Mailing List ==== > Search, Subscribe & Unsubscribe CLARKE-L > http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/c/clarke.html > List Manager's address CLARKE-admin@rootsweb.com > >
