Died Dec. 21, 1884, was ambushed on way to San Antonio, TX. Married Lucy Minerva KIMBELL on Dec. 28, 1880. Lucy was born March 03, 1859, in Blancona, Texas. Died July 17, 1946, TX. They had 3 children: Minnie Minerva, b. 1880-1884, married Louis SMITH. John Kimbell, b. 1881, d. 1949, in Mineral, TX. Married Margaret Leticia SHORT . Samuel Jacob, Jr. was born June 02, 1885, died Sept. 28, 1946, in TX, married Carrie Mae MASSENGALE.
