--Kathy, I'm not certain if you are asking about a specific Samuel Clark in some posting which I have not seen on Clark-L. I decided to respond anyway, because I do have a SAMUEL CLARK in my line. He may be someone out there's relative. My Samuel Clark was born in 1757 in Haddam , CT, the son of Reuben Clark and Mary Tryon. He married Mary Lee also of CT. He was an early settler ( 1802) in Genesee county, NY.. Died in Elba, NY Mar 15, 1815. Samuel and Mary Lee Clark also had a son SAMUEL, born 1796. He married Statira Brown in Genesee Co, NY.
