My mother was a Wilson too. Her mother was a Carlyle, but step father was Thomas C. Clark from Asheville, NC. I wonder if the Wilson side would connect too. Thomas was born about 1860 in NC and was married to Rebeca Carlil in 1877. He was on the 1880 census with Rebeca and her mother, but never on any other census with Rebeca, but Rebeca had children thru 1899 and they were Clarks. Any connection. Margaret sunsethillcem@juno.com
