Hello Cyrus: I am glad I got your email as I have been wanting to correct some of the data I put on RootsWeb last Jan. I had just received this information and was so happy about the break through on my Clark line that I posted it to share with others before I double checked it. When I started trying to verify this information I realized the data I gave for John Clarke b. Oct. 8, 1609 Westhorpe, Suffolk, Eng.; d. April 20, 1676 Newport, Newport, RI was wrong as he didn't have any children, although he married 3 times (1) Sarah Davis, (2) Jane Fletcher and (3) Elizabeth Harges-Harris who out lived him. I went to searching and found that it was his brother, Joseph Clarke who was the one who had the children that I had given as the children of John Clarke. I have wanted to correct this error for sometime but I am not sure how to go about it. I'll welcome any help you can give me. I would like to see your Clarke/Clark family tree that you mentioned. I have enjoyed working on the Clark family tree but it has sure presented me a lot of brick walls. Eola Wasson Clark
