He had an earlier brother John B. born b. 1878 d. 1880 - both in New Kent County, Virginia to Robert Dandridge Clarke and his first wife, Laura J. Morgan. KY census where he is listed as a "miner" (prob. coal), and married to PERMELIA (Amelia) E. BURTON. they have 3 children listed, margaret 5, mary jane 3 and my paternal gfather BEN (John Benjamin Clark) b. 1879 would like to find where John B. Clark was born in virginia, which of the Clark lines he is from. i do not have a m'd date nor death date. we think he is buried in ward cemetery, laurel/rockcastly co, ky. there is only a metal marker on his grave with initials "IMOPRM." these initials could be an affiliation with Red Men org, but have no proof on that. in 1896, he remarried the widow Rhoda Gentry (Mrs. Logan) Black in KY.
