    3. i call them rumours, because they came from my family... "i heard..." they told me my daddy's grandma was creole, on my grandpa's side. however, i found out that she was a slave yes, and an indian yet, but the spanish/french connection is not there--but on my dad's mom's side.. "pettiford"--they say that she is the creole, but i am at a brick wall. i have researched extensively, and the roots must go back further than what the family thought if it is really there...
