I'm in Valencia and my Clarkes were originally from Somerset. Are you going to the British Isles Family History Society seminar on the Queen Mary next month? I'm toying with the idea. Greetings Sheila from Six Flags Magic Mountain ! My Levi Clark b. 1835, is still in Delaware Co., Indiana . . . I recently visited this web site http://members.aol.com/clarkweb/callfam.htm . . . someone from this List had mention that there were a lot of Clark's from Indiana listed there . . . well sure enough, there were 4 Levi's listed ! and one is listed only as b. 1837 Ohio . . . several of that one's siblings are shown as died in Jasper and White Counties of Indiana . . . which is about 90 plus miles east of Delaware Co. . . . I have sent an email to the owner of that web site, as they indicated they had more info on that individual <g> . . . if this is the one I am looking for, he is a distant cousin to the Hon. Abraham Clark, one of the signer of the Declaration of Independence ! . . . and part of the clan from Elizabethtown, New Jersey . . . well we will wait and see what turns up . . . with the luck I have been having tracking down my Levi . . . this might be another near miss . . . <g> I was checking out that AncestorSuperSearch site for other surnames I have over there in England . . . Cobb, Whitcomb, Peck, Wheeler, Rogers, Rice, Prescott, Bixby and Chandler just to name a few off the top of my head . . . and there were NO hit's for several of the Counties they were from . . . hummmmm Hey tell us more about this British Isles Family History Society seminar . . . it sounds interesting . . .
