Faye Sharpe Alley ask if I knew when Thomas Clark son of Josiah Clark, Carter Tn, was born. I don't have that information however, his older brother James was born 27 Jun. 1784, so, I would guess he was born in the period for 1785 to 1790 He died in Monroe Co, Tn in 1862. His two wives were Elizabeth Edens and Flora Swodley. Max; Thanks, You know, since you say the older of Thomas and James is James b. 1784 I am wondering if Josias Clark was perhaps younger than my Josias. I presume my Josias married in Maryland since his wife had land same county which she and Josias sold in 1794 same time as he sold the other land. I presume also, he married before 1771 as I believe -his in-laws - were deeding him land in that time frame. I don't know just when he married though. But, he didn't appear to be married when his father died. 1756. as his father say to another son if Josias died without issue.
