Fort Worth TX From_: jeanrice@cet.com Mon Jul 30 01:27:56 2001 SERENDIPITY: There is a photo of Tracy and George Lafayette Clark, father and son, taken circa 1917-18, during WWI, on pg. 198 of the Jan-Feb 1990 issue of "The Genealogical Helper" magazine. The son is in a WWI uniform of a Major and the father is wearing his Confederate uniform. The father has a long white beard. Both men are "standing at attention." George Lafayette Clark was born 09 June 1843, Winston Co. MS and died 1919 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the son of James Green Clark and Frances Webb. No details on George's first wife, but his second wife was Mary L (Molly) Jenkins whom he married on 21 Aug 1883, Erath Co. TX. She was born 25 April 1857, died in childbirth 21 Nov 1889. Their son, Tracy Macune Clark was born 25 Jan 1888. He married Nina Bartlett, 24 June 1919. He died 09 Oct 1959 and is buried in Waco, TX. He and his wife had no children. The Fort Worth, TX submitter's connection (N. Dingmore) is that Tracy Clark's mother, Molly Jenkins Clark, was his grandmother's sister. His grandmother, Lavina Elizabeth Jenkins Lindsey, raised the infant daughter born in 1889, named Lillian. Hopefully, this "snippet" will provide just the right clue to a researcher. Please reference that issue for more details. jeanrice@cet.com ================ Subject: josephine clark From_: kevinbraem@hotmail.com Tue Jul 31 12:33:30 2001 she is my grandmother date of birth unknown .she was married to my grandfather martin frank braem sr. born dec 17 1881 in alma, buffalo co.,wi.they had two children martin jr. and barbara mae braem .my grand father martin died july 11,1939in alma .they lived in minneapolis, minn. at 1613 w 25th street.she had been a chorus dancer nickname"dee dee"they married oct 20,1933.so she was josephine braem when he died.heard she remarried and had more childrenlookig for those relatives also her birthdate and her parents names. her first two children were adopted by irene and ralph weaver any contact will be answered. thank you. kevinbraem@hotmail.com ====================== Subject: looking for Olin Clark ancestors of West Texas From_: la_stonelli@hotmail.com Mon Jul 30 20:24:42 2001 Olin Clark was my grandpa, a farmer and sailor at times, living in the 1920's - 19??.
