Have any of you run across some Clarkes that were in Lawrence Mass 125 years ago. I'm seeking info on my grandfather's family. He was born Frederick W. Clarke on June 9, 1875 in Lawrence, according to his cemetery and obit stats. He died in 1954. He had kin in Methuen and southern NH last reported in 1950s. I know I can get information in Lawrence. I sent $5 and a SASE to them but nothing back since February. I'll make a trip up there in a few weeks.
