Looking for info on Elenor Clark and Stephen Paterson, who married 18 Apr 1816 West Field, Essex or Union NJ. I would like to see if they are the same couple as the family in Freehold, Monmouth Co, NJ. The Freehold family had a son Albert b. about 1817 and possbile daughter Jane who later (1846) lived in NYC and possible daughter Ann Eliza who married Stephen Stillwagon. Stephen died 1836-1846 and Eleanor after 1860. Eleanor is buried in Adelphia Cemetery, Monmouth Co NJ with just Wife of Stephen and no dates on the weathered stone, no stone for Stephen If this is the same Stephen and Elenor who married in Westfield, did Elenor have a sister who married a Clayton and did the sister die young leaving a child Joseph Clayton, born in 1842 in Freehold, Monmouth, NJ who Eleanor and her son Albert raised? Have much more on this Freehold family. Found marriage of Elenor to Stephen Paterson in the IGI, trying to see if same people. Any leads wanted. I am new to this list. Thanks, Anita
