I am looking for Clarks or information about the Clark family that lived along the Ohio/West Virginia border from Steubenville, OH to Wheeling, WV. My great-great grandfather was John M. Clark, born February 1, 1853 in West Virginia. He married Anna I. Malkin and raised a family in Wheeling, WV. I found the names of his children in a family bible, and they are: Minnie Clark, b. 25-Jan-1877, married a Mr. Magel John R. Clark, b. 06-Oct-1878, married Nettie M. ____ Edith Clark, b. 03-Mar-1880, married a Mr. Hagan Annie Clark, b. 04-Feb-1883 Jeannette V. Clark, b. 01-Oct-1885, married Ronald Foresha Charles T. Clark, b. 27-Feb-1887, married Minnie A. ____ William N. Clark, b. 23-Mar-1889, married Zona K. ____ Albert Emery Clark, b. 12-Jun-1891, married Lura Ellen Jones <--- Albert is my great grandfather Francis B. Clark, b. 05-Aug-1893, married Ida M. ____ In the family bible his death was recorded as April 6, 1929. Unfortunately, the person that was updating the family bible, Lura Ellen Jones, died in the late eighties. I have no idea what happened to the children listed above as well. I've only seen William N. and Francis B. appear briefly in the city directory of Steubenville, OH, and John R. appear in census records in Steubenville.
