    1. Re: [CLARKE] Clarks from TN
    2. Patti, Do you know where in TN your <William Clark b 1811 TN Joseph Clark b 1813 TN> were from? I have a Joseph Clark b ca 1772 in Monmouth County, NJ who was in "Tenn County NC" in 1803; it appears he returned to Monmouth County by the NJ 1808 tax list. But he may have had some of his children while in TN, as he was married in 1798 before moving to TN. In addition, he may have migrated to TN with his brother Richard Clark; that's my hypothesis because I've been unable to find any mention of Richard in NJ. So I'm surmising that they went together, and Richard stayed while Joseph retuned to NJ. Judi in Virginia
