    3. Do they support searches or exact lookups? The SSN application allowed 10 years of leeway if I recall. For example, I know my Father was in the service but I don't know if he was in the Army or Air Force. The 180 form implies that you must select the branch of service.. And it would be cool to find out if any of my anscestors were in the military, but my gut feeling is I can't just send in a bunch of "see if this person was ever in one of the services" requests.
