I am looking for a Charles William Clark born in KY , one son Abraham lived in Mo and am trying to find family connections and siblings of Abraham. Do you have a wife for William or any other info and will glad to give you info I have is ;these are the same family..... Thanksss June Clark
Joseph was born in Westhorpe (some say Finningham), Suffolk, Engalnd in 1618, came to America (Boston area) in 1637, found they were too lenient and went off to Rhode Island in 1638. The family comes from RI til about 1800 when my multi great gfa Job Bennett Clarke, b. 1800 takes off for Scott, Cortland, NY. OF course others along the way have relocated, branched out and gone off on wild goose chases to other locales. Jacqueline: he more likely descended from the Daniel Clark(e) d. 1696 AA Co. MD. His son were underage in 1696 and his wife re-married to Samuel Duval. he had sons Thomas; William; and Richard. Williams line is found in Prince George's Co. and others in the surrounding Co. Bowie, I am not familiar with. Where is that? Max; Thanks, You know, since you say the older of Thomas and James is James b. 1784 I am wondering if Josias Clark was perhaps younger than my Josias. I presume my Josias married in Maryland since his wife had land same county which she and Josias sold in 1794 same time as he sold the other land. I presume also, he married before 1771 as I believe -his in-laws - were deeding him land in that time frame. I don't know just when he married though. But, he didn't appear to be married when his father died. 1756. as his father say to another son if Josias died without issue. I seek info on the following Maryland Clarkes: Frederick Charles Clarke, b.15 July 1829 Walter Thomas Clarke b.2 July 1831 William Green Clarke b.28 Nov. 1832 Richard Colmore Clarke b.17 Oct 1836. A Richard lived with Elizabeth Clarke Penney (along with his mom, Mary Anne Duval Clarke) on the Penney plantation, at the end of Mary Anne D. Clarkes life. Richard Staley Clarke b. 27 Dec 1842 (two Richards may mean one of the Richards died. I do not know which Richard lived on the Penny Plantation.) The parents of these men were Daniel Clark, b. 22 June 1789 and Mary Anne Duval Clarke, b. 8 Jan 1804 Their sisters were Elizabeth Penney, Mary AnneHipkins, my ggm, Sarah Camille Carroll, Ann Marie and Asemath Lowery. Daniel , the father,is supposed to have owned a plantation near Bowie, MD. Any help will be sincerely appreciated. Jackie Lehman Davidson

Desperately trying to find ALBERT NEWELL CLARK...b? He married Mamie Collopy in Portland, Oregon in September 1883, gave his age as 23, hers as 18. After 3 children, Albert abandoned the family in 1897 and resurfaced in Nelson, BC in 1900, and Mamie filed for divorce. Their 3 children were Frank Newell Clark (my ggrandfather) - 1884; Earl Albert - 1886, and Verona G. ("Noan") - 1888. "Noan" married a Frank B. Upshaw in Portland...thank you!! ----- Original Message ----- From: <CLARKE-D-request@rootsweb.com> To: <CLARKE-D@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 11, 2001 2:00 AM Subject: CLARKE-D Digest V01 #226
