Anyone with info about Stephen Powell or with any or the family connections I would love to hear from you. This line ended up in Greene Co. Indiana where my Mother was born. I still have family near Seattle. My Clark's settled all over the Northwest, and I am familiar with the name Sorenson, not Sorensen. Sorensen is Danish, right? My paternal side is Swedish. Anyway, I can't seem to get past my great-great grandparents, John and Suzannah (Steele) Clark. I've gathered a lot of Steele information, but can't find anything on her family. John Clark is a bit too common and I've not had much luck with him, either. I think that he was born in either Iowa or Virginia, I don't have a date, but my great-grandfather, Austin Roland Clark, was born August 25, 1870, in Iowa (probably Des Moines). I just wanted to email you to see if you might have any of these names. I don't really have a lot of information past my great-grandfather. I'm still searching. Thanks. Doris Poulson Burge
