Mike Boyd of Queensland has suggested to me that I forward part of my Boyd family. It all starts with James John Boyd ( he was a barristers clerk)b 2 July 1797 and died May 1866 and buried at Hornsey in London his wife was Jane Balinger she was born in Walthamstow in Essex 20 September 1797 and died December 1865 she also is buried in Hornsey. Their children are as follows. 1. Charlotte Ester Boyd born 24 November 1823 in Holborn London as was the birth place for all the siblings. Charlotte died on the 5th of March 1909 in Hendon . 2. William Liddelow Boyd was born 6 October 1825 and died 7 November 1861 in Hendon Middlesex. 3.James Balinger Boyd (my great grandfather) was born 30th December 1827 again in Holborn and died 21st November 1903 in Leederville Western Australia he had on his death certificate that he had been in Western Australia for 50 years but at this point I have been unable to locate his immigration status and what ship he arrived in. 4 Elizabeth Jane Boyd born 27 March 1830 in Holborn she died May 1854 in Hornsey. 5 Stephen Stagg Boyd was born 28 July 1833 in Holborn, he joined the Merchant Navy at the age of 16 years and I think he died in Livingston County in Missouri in USA. 6 Emma Boyd was born 23 June 1840 in Holborn and died 9 November 1903 in Walden in Essex.
