Don't forget we have a huge list of Boyds who fought in the "late unpleasantness" (Civil War) ( both sides) on the Boyd Family Information Pages. For Kentucky the link is: http://www.clanboyd.info/state/Kentucky/civil/index.htm For other states just go to http://clanboyd.info and click on State link and then click on the Civil War Link. Thanks to Karen from Ohio for gathering these lists a couple of years ago. Rich Boyd ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jane C. I really appreciate everyone's interest. The information on Jackson Boyd has given me hope. I always kind of thought that if the story is true of a family of brothers coming to Charleston, IL to confront the Boyd's, that it must have involved ill will over the war between the states.
