    3. Years ago we lived in Connecticut & had a jillion birds (Cardinals, Pilated Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, etc), and I took a lot of photos traveling around the world. But I can't say I'm a serious birdwatcher or photographer. But we do have Condors flying around here in the southewest....have you ever seen one? They are huge!!     3. Yes to both! I live on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state and there are so many birds here that it is difficult not to be a bird watcher. I keep feeders in the yard (when the bears don't steal them) and binoculars in every room. It seemed like the only thing to do when I bought an expensive zoom for my camera just to get shots of the eagles.
