Madora, would you mind checking on the James's for me. I had a James in Brook Co. VA at Collier's Station. He moved out with his sister Mary Jane Jones and her family. I believe her husband may have received a land grant for his 1812 service. They are from the Alexander ( b circa 1712 ) Boyd family of Cecil Co. MD around West Nottingham and Port Deposit and may have been in VA/WV about 1820, maybe a little earlier. Thank you.
