Rich, Go to electronicscotland they have a link to the House of Tartan they show the Boyd Tartan as it is registered at The Lyon Court of Scotland and it has no Blue in the tartan. I do recall that Mellon and Will Boyd once told me that there was Tartan called the Pendleton Boyd that had some blue but that this was his idea of what the Boyd Tartan should look like. I tend to have more trust in the people that approved the Boyd Tartan design that the 6th Baron of Kilmarnock submitted in 1956. Yours Aye , David Boyd in GA
