When I was a child my cousins and I had "Boyd" outfits that were much like the Royal Stewart tartan. It wasn't till I went to Scotland that I was sold the blue with orange stripe "Boyd Sept" tartan. Hello Boyds I meant no blue BOYD tartan. I see no blue whatsoever in my Boyd kilt. Of course I may be color blind but my wife Jerri Lynn says there is no blue in the tartan either. I can take a closeup photo with my digital camera if anyone wants to see the actual tartan color and the sett. My kilt was made in Scotland for Dunedin Scottish of Florida. Of course your computer shows color differently but on my computer there is still no blue in the tartan. Actually it is the sett that makes the tartan. The sett is the design of the tartan, not the color. Colors may actually be off color in the same tartar but the sett must remain the same. Email me and I'll send a close-up scan of my Boyd kilt. richboyd@speednetLLC.com Best Regards Rich Boyd agfoster@headscheme.com wrote: > When I was a child my cousins and I had "Boyd" outfits that were much > like the Royal Stewart tartan. > It wasn't till I went to Scotland that I was sold the blue with > orange stripe "Boyd Sept" tartan. > > On Aug 16, 2005, at 2:22 PM, Karen McMillan wrote: > >> Did you see the one from Rich that said no blue tartans?
