My John Boyd, my 2nd great grandfather) b. 1825 d. Aft 1863 married Mary A. Acuff b. Abt 1825 d. Apr 1900 in James Co., TN. They were the parents of 8 children. My great grandfather, William Perry Boyd, was born in Arkansas. There is the possibility that his older sister was also born there. However the other children were all born in Tennessee. The family apparently stayed in TN because that is where my grandfather, Tycus Boyd, was born. He later moved to Arkansas where he met and married my grandmother, Katie Matilda Teel.
