    3. Hello Anna asked why the newsletter is named "The Dean Road". The road that leads from the burgh of Kilmarnock to Kilmarnock Castle was the Dean road. The castle is now usually called the Dean Castle. William G. Boyd gave the name to the newsletter early in 1988 before the society was offically formed.
