I have another family line that has done DNA. The person doing the DNA must be a male, therefore, the name most likely would be BOYD. There are DNA testing kits for GENEALOGY purposes only. If several different BOYD lines did this it would tell you which line they came from. For instance, it would tell you whether you belong to the New York Boyds or the New Jersey Boyds by matching you with BOYDS from those area's. Ruby
