    2. Harry Boyde
    3. Hello, My Archibald Boyd was married to Margaret Burnett on Oct 13, 1813 according to records in Morgantown, W.Va. (Monongalia Co.) I find them living in Wharten TWP Fayette Co. Pa in the 1820 and 1830 census. I don't know his birth date but it was most likely 1770s or early 1780s. He disappears from the 1840 census but the name Margaret becomes head of household. They had at least 2 sons and probably more children. They were Andrew Boyd and Parks A. Boyd. You can find them in the 1850 census and also later. Both served with Union army during civil war. Parks was KIA at battle of Wilderness. Both have pension files.I recently visited NARA and saw their files. An affidavid in Parks file written by Andrew Boyd states he lived near Parks and was his brother. Time constraits kept me copying their files but I will get them eventially.I believe their father was Archibald and their grandfather was my GR. GR. Gr. grandfather Andrew Boyd. I do not have positive proof but it can't be far waay. Ironically one son of Andrew (Parks brother) was named Archibald and married Charlotte Show. This Archibald was born about 1836 and died in 1904 after being hit by a train. He is buried in Ohiopyle, Pa. with Charlotte. My own great grandfather James Boyd, son of William of Monongalia Co. W.Va. was hit by a train near Uffington W.Va. on June 13, 1906 at the age of 83. These two would have been first cousins.
