Does anyone know anything about a relationship between John Boyd of Martinsburg, Berkeley County, WV who married Sarah Griffith.........and the family of Capt. Robert Boyd who was born of Scottish parents abt 1705-7 and migrated to the Cumberland Valley of PA in abt 1735?? This John Boyd was made executor of Thomas Boyd's (Capt Robert's son) will. As far as I can tell - this John Boyd was not a direct descendant of Capt. Robert.....but perhaps a cousin????? Elijah (m Phebe Hayes) and Elisha Boyd were both part of this John's family.
