SCOTLAND. Perthshire. The 1841 Perthshire Free Census Project status page outlines the progress being made in transcribing this record and making it available online for free. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~perth1841/ Hi All, Have a wonderful summer everyone. We had a blizzard in Michigan last week but only 3-4 inches here in Rogers City which melted rapidly. It was a good thing because we were under "no burn" warnings because of the severely dry conditions and fires across Michigan were eminent. Jerri Lynn and I published the April/2005 issue of the Boyd family newsletter last week. Those of you whom do not receive a newsletter may request a complimentary copy as long as you haven't received a free copy in the past. The newsletter is $15.00 per year/4 issues. We have never missed publishing an issue. This issue, Vol. 18 No. 67 has 14 pages and concludes the article 1. about Robert Boyd of Ballymacool who became a Spanish myrtyr in 1831 helping to gain freedom for the Spanish people.
